Bronce Medal: Negre Finca Renardes y White Parató Xarel·lo
The Tastavins Penedès Academy has presented the 56th Tastavins DO Penedès Contest, one of the most prestigious and oldest contests in the state, where a panel of tasters – made up of more than twenty professionals from the wine sector, including sommeliers, oenologists, specialized journalists and those responsible for purchases from specialized stores and mass consumption– have blindly tasted and scored all the samples presented to choose the best Penedés wines.
NEGRE FINCA RENARDES 2018 - Bronze Medal
With a touch of Cariñena, we leave it for only 4 or 5 months in oak barrels to obtain a young red wine, with notes of fruit but with a soft and light touch of wood that will make it more complex and allow a very pleasant semi-aging.
WHITE PARATÓ XAREL·LO 2021 - Bronze Medal
We make this wine by letting it macerate on its lees, so it gains more body and structure. Parató was one of the first wineries to bottle it as a monovarietal in 1977, a true classic of our winery, Xarel·lo 100%.
